Battania is Celts, Gauls etc. just general pre-roman and pre-medieval western tribes. Mostly just what we think of when mentioning cultures like that, even tho they were all unique and would defo not have thought of themselves as being ‘’the same’’, so not really inspired by any real cultures at all, just our idea of them.

Overall Battania sucks right now aside from Fians and the volunteers with the crazy mallets, really, but Fians are insane as a ranged unit and ranged units are arguably the best or at least easiest thing to consistently win against greater numbers with and have few casualties currently.
