Though the amount of fuel pumps have are so insanely high it will most likely never realistically run out. #1. The reason you wouldn't setup in a gas station in a IRL life zombie apocalypse is because it would be a target for anyone passing by. I hope we have to consider stuff like that one day in game. TBF this game isn't ever going to have actual balanced PvP base raiding mechanics.One of the best base locations in Project Zomboid. Check out my other videos for base tours. The mod has been updated for 41.72. Great news, this game patch have integrated most of the FuelAPI logic. This mean that items can now contain fuel without the need for FuelAPI. FuelAPI will still offer some features such as the large gas can and filling barrels with fuel.

Alternative suggestion: See if you can fuel some empty gas cans or generators at the pump (assuming you have it turned on for the latter). You can do that directly with right click as long as the power is on and you have some in your inventory. If you can’t, the pump is out of gas, and you’ll need to find another.
