Config to show what you want. you can enable it in the UI settings. keep in mind though that the compatibility list is largely outdated, at best useless and at worst misinformative. that's why it is now disabled by default. From the picture, where it says "input device: keyboard/mouse", click on the drop-down and select the specific controller you want, assuming it is connected/on. I have some off brand controllers and any time they don't automagically connect this seems to fix it. 2.
